Technical Analysis

 

Technical analysis is a systematic study of the trend in the currency or stock by using charts, past price and volume data. In technical analysis different types of charts and indicators are used.

 

In technical analysis it is presumed that

1)     All relevant information pertaining to the stock/currency is included in the current price,

2)     The stock/currency follows a trend,

3)     History repeats itself.

Based on above assumptions it is possible to predict the future trend in the stock/currency.

 

 

Fundamental Analysis         

 

As the name indicates the Fundamental analysis is based solely on the fundamental aspects of the stock/currency and these fundamentals of the stock/currency is in turn guided by economic, political, industry and company specific (in case of stocks) environments.

 

Trading strategies

 

Trading strategy is a plan, a series of rules for getting the desired investment/trading objectives. The strategies are developed using technical and fundamental analysis of the stock/currency and other aspects. The are various type of strategies.
